FalC is designed to bring a soft-format faire (tents and portable stages) to any location that contracts for one, complete with court and street players, stage acts, vendors and whatever is needed to "fit the need". The owners and board members have a long (30+ years) history of participation in Renaissance Festivals around the country, from Royal Court to Street performer to Stage act to Booth management and booth work and maintenance, and are all currently active on the Renfaire circuit, primarily in the Midwest.
Bio - Susi Matthews Cannon
Susi has come to nearly define her life in Renaissance terms; having done faires and performance art for more than half her life and creating both businesses and relationships from performing at faires, this shouldn't be too surprising. She graduated college with both theater and art degrees and soon realized that only in historical theater performance could she use her equal loves of history, theater, music and art. She has been a self-employed seamstress/designer/costumer for almost three decades and has done just about every job one could do at a faire except serve beer and take tickets. In 2003 she met and formed a partnership, in both life and music, with the man with whom she formed the band "Queen's Gambit"; out of that partnership also came a merger of business ideas, helping to create White Hart Renaissance faire. Eventually she has come to realize that all the training she received performing at Renaissance Faires and owning a sewing business might be best utilized in producing Renaissance faires with members of her family of choice.
Bio - Becky Grotts
Becky Grotts is a Renaissance (wo)man - she teaches music and occasionally other subjects. She has twice traveled to Japan as a participant in a teacher exchange program and maintains friendships with teachers she has met through the program. In a past life, she has been a computer consultant and is still very much a "geek", enjoying computer games and puzzles. Becky has been involved in Renaissance faires for more than 15 years, first as a patron, then playtron, then booth worker and manager, as a vendor coordinator, and most recently as a fiddler in a Celtic music band.
